I intend to read your articles regularly.

Little is known about the antecedents of the Indus valley civilization except for what is revealed through archeology. The skeletal remains indicate that the people in the Indus region of 2,200 BCE appear to be not dissimilar to the current inhabitants of the Sindh and Punjab. There appears to be a racial continuity of sorts.

The Tamil culture belongs to the deep south. It is part of a broader pan Indic world, one that had its beginnings in the Indus valley as did all Indic civilization.

To that extent, you are indeed correct. Karunanidhi represents a politicization of history, not authentic research.

I would also like to refer you to the antecedents of the Indus valley civilization in the late Neolithic era as excavated in Merhgarh. This can be traced to the circa 6500 BCE.

Best regards

RomeshAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3442555339667770589.post-64602884386306030122010-06-21T19:28:31.125+05:302010-06-21T19:28:31.125+05:30Respected Madam,
