Saffron-hater Shinde loves to wear blue!

It was no surprise that Shinde spoke about 'Hindu terror' immediately after the Prince of Congress dynasty took over the reins.  He was actually mouthing what Rahul once said. Who can forget the wiki leaks revelation on Rahul who told the US Ambassador that Hindu terror was worse than  LeT? With Shinde mouthing the same line, it is clear what Rahul is going to talk in the coming months? Rahul's love for Muslim appeasement, his hatred for Hindus and his economics of throwing money at the poor people are all well known by now. But what I am coming to say in this post is why this man, Shinde with all his hatred for saffron, is sporting a blue gem - embedded ring in his right middle finger?

This is a clear indication that he is very much a follower of Hindu astrology! Usually Indians don't wear a ring in the middle finger. The Middle finger denotes Saturn and only under advice from a Hindu astrologer, a person would wear Blue sapphire in his middle finger. This is done to enhance the positive power of planet Saturn. Shinde has Saturn in Mula-trikona in his Navamsa while his moon sign lord in Rasi is Saturn. Saturn in the asterism Sun being placed in trinal angle to both Moon and the Sun is being 'strengthened' so that he can get powerful position in the Government and even win the elections comfortably. Saturn's favourable position in the horoscope in the form of Sasa yoga is the most desired combination for political power. In the absence of that in his horoscope, it is obvious Shinde has taken advise from a Hindu astrologer and is wearing this ring in his right ring finger.

Isn't it outrageous that he is blaming Hindu terror on the one hand while taking help from Hindu ways on the other?  If he is obsessed with Hindu terror, why is he taking help from something that is  Hindu to core?  He reminds me of a Tamil adage " padikkirathu ramayanam, idikkirathu perumal kovil" – reading Ramayana on the one side and breaking a temple on the other. If he thinks that there is something as Hindu terror, it is in his finger. Would he blame the ring if he loses his job? I am sure that day would come soon when this ring sanctified by Hindu means is going to let him down. He cannot use and mis-use Hindu name for his selfish ends.

Shinde started firing, but his gun was aimed at India!

Not even a week passed and Rahul Gandhi's hope to bring out a changed India has already been dashed. Yes, we are talking about the great home minister of the country known by the name of Sushilkumar Shinde. The man, who is often popularly called Hasmukh (for his smiling face) vis-a-vis the late Vilasrao Deshmukh, has been getting attention ever since he took the important office but for reasons that are trivial and of no substance.

Shinde made his latest goof-up when he accused the BJP and RSS of conducting terror camps and promoting Hindu terror. This is an issue that involves the nation's internal security and also can impact its foreign relations. The incumbent of a key ministry can not afford to talk loose on these issues to gain a political advantage over a domestic opposition. It is really unfortunate that the standard of our leadership has touched such a nadir that a motormouth home minister is putting the country's stakes at peril.

Shinde's same-side goal is unpardonable If Shinde really thinks that there is a strong Hindu terrorist force carrying out its activities in India, he should have dealt with the issue effectively and not by making a huge noise in the public. Why doesn't he make a blue-print behind the closed doors to nab the culprits rather than making hollow overtures? If he really can not do the actual task, then it is better he keeps shut and stop fuelling tension in the Indian society. This country is already having enough trouble and Shinde will do us a world of good if he resists the temptations.

The problem is that by uttering the words 'Hindu Terror', Shinde no more kept the issue confined within the Indian borders. The anti-Indian voices in Pakistan wasted no time in jumping into the fray and congratulated Shinde. This is a pathetic show by a representative of the Indian government and can jeopardise the nation's vital interests in issues like terrorism or Kashmir problem. It is very urgent that the Indian Prime Minister either puts Shinde under check or removes him from the ministry.

As a power minister, the man had allowed the nation to witness a horrible black out last year after a series of power outages but got a surprising promotion. But can we allow him to put up similar performance in the home ministry? Shinde later said that what he meant was saffron terror but without any deep understanding of these sensitive issues, why is he mentioning words like 'Hindu' and 'saffron' so casually? No wonder the man, who applied little brain while speaking, is being flayed across the nation.

Attaching terrorism with a religious identity is a dangerous game and Shinde's utterances in way is going to prove a shot in the arm for Islamabad and all the terror outfits that it backs. Hafiz Saeed has already congratulated Shinde and Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik also began to find a confidence to speak on saffron terror. He is also demanding that India be also declared a terrorist state. Shinde's goof-up is unpardonable. If the BJP and RSS are fuelling Hindu terror, then what was the Congress was doing in November 1984?

In the past, we had seen how Congress media cell chief Janardhan Dwivedi contradicted Sjhinde's predecessor P Chidambaram by saying terrorism had no colour and was black and was cautious of not associating terrorism with saffron, a colour that is religiously significant to the Hindus. The BJP has said that this is a ploy by the Congress to satisfy its minority vote-bank and also to isolate the BJP by winning over more 'secular' allies. Whatever dirty politics is being played, there should be some line drawn for petty politician not to cross the lines.

Shinde should stop pretending to be an iron man for he is another mediocre follower of the great family. If he is really interested in curbing terrorism, then he should show some spine in demolishing the terrorist camps across the border. But don't make terrorism a means to buy votes. We are making ourselves a laughing stock in front of the whole world.

  1. A very good statement, that he can use and abuse Hindu beliefs for his own selfish ends! But unfortunately most of the congress members belong to this category! Why should some members openly back this stupid, irrational, divisive and blatantly false comment? I wish all self respecting Hindus disown this lot and refuse to give Hindu votes to the Congress party and see that they are totally defeated! If Mr. Modi thinks and talks like a Hindu, everyone, including the media say that he should stop thinking as a HIndu and start thinking as an Indian! Will they dare to say the same thing to a muslim?

I am very glad that you have exposed this pseudo secular attitude of one of these persons so boldly and bravely. Please continue to do so!

  2. Hello Jayashree!

I am glad that you have come out openly about the pseudo secular selfish politician! Yes, it is true that he cannot use and misuse Hindu beliefs! But unfortunately, the whole lot of congress members are the birds of the same feather!

I wish every self respecting Hindu should disown such people and refuse to vote for the congress and see that they are defeated so badly not to rise up again!!

  3. What you said about the blue stone representing Saturn is worn by this man according to Hindu belief for his selfish ends, is very true. I wish your prediction that the same blue stone is going to let him down also comes true! You see, Saturn is the brother of Yama Dharma Raja! Saturn is also a very strict follower of Dharma to the extent of meting out harsh punishments to those who do not follow Dharma! That is why people are so scared of different forms of Sani dasa because everyone has sinned in some form or other.

Now the hypocrisy of seeking Saturn's favour on the one hand and immediately making false statements about Hindu terrorism, when actually it is only in sanatana Dharma we believe that everyone should be happy "Sarve janaaha sukhino bhavantu" , is highly contradictory which Saturn will certainly not tolerate as you say! We are waiting for the downfall asap!
