The Sinister Angles Behind The Devyani khobragade Brouhaha?

The diplomatic pressures applied by the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance in India – and by the anti-Sonia old guard faction within the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance against the violation of the human rights of an Indian female diplomat Devyani Khobragade seem to have worked as the United States of America has tendered an official apology.
This was meant to effectively bottle the roaring angry genie released into the media by a majority of citizens of a nation called India that is Bharat who charged the US with hatching a conspiracy with an Indian domestic aide who had alleged that Devyani had committed visa fraud.
Sadly, it has not.
The Official statements issued by the US government state that Secretary of State John Kerry had expressed regret over the incident while chatting with India's national security advisor Shiv Shankar Menon.
"As a father of two daughters about the same age as Devyani Khobragade, the secretary empathises with the sensitivities we are hearing from India about the events that unfolded after Ms Khobragade's arrest," state department spokesperson Marie Harf was quoted as saying in a statement released in Washington DC.
"In his conversation with national security advisor Menon, he expressed his regret, as well as his concern that we not allow this unfortunate public issue to hurt our close and vital relationship with India," Harf added.
This facile sweeping all the unsavoury events under a diplomatic carpet, simply, in my opinion, does not hold any water as they only refer to matters after the arrest.
Kerry stated that it is "particularly important" that foreign diplomats serving in the US are accorded respect and dignity "just as we [the US Government] expect our own diplomats should receive overseas".
This, in my opinion, is a sign of the United States' regime buckling down after the special security measures were withdrawn from the precincts outside the US Embassy in New Delhi at the beginning of this week.
Former Indian Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha, ever tongue-in-cheek, demanded the arrest of all 'companions' of persons of US origin serving in diplomatic missions whose sexual orientation may not be of the straight variety under India's Draconian 377 law that renders all homosexual encounters as criminal acts in India.
In my opinion, perhaps some pressure has been mounted on Kerry by the gay community within the diplomatic sections of the US government that lie overseas. [Pun and fun are intended.]
Besides, the removal of some of the concrete blocks meant to stumble security threats against the US of A's New Delhi Embassy in full view of telly cameras may have sent the right message to the John Doe's in Langley, Virginia, US of A where the Central Intelligence Agency think tank sits.
An ambassador of the US of A in Libya had been murdered by terrorists not long ago.
American missions have been hit by the crazy brand of Islamic fundamentalists – who had been originally fathered by none other than the CIA itself. Those who have any doubts about this ought to read about the life and times of Osama bin Laden, the Saudi national who was sent to fight the Godless commies from the Pak-Afghan border. In most of Africa and in the Middle-East, the Americans have the old prefix UGLY back alongside their names in neon signs.
The Paki Frankenstein terrorism machine created by the CIA is coming home to roost in various parts of the world – and especially in Pakistan itself.
Therefore, it is no wonder that Kerry apologised.
Meanwhile Devyani has been moved by India from her post as deputy consul-general in New York to India's permanent mission at the United Nations, streets away in Manhattan also in New York.
Any greenhorn journalist would know that the measure effectively shields Devyani from any fresh attempt at another arrest as UN-accredited diplomats enjoy higher immunity from US domestic laws.
The mischief, however, originates in this section of the state department's statement:
"The secretary [Kerry] understands very deeply the importance of enforcing our laws and protecting victims, and, like all officials in positions of responsibility inside the US government, expects that laws will be followed by everyone here in our country."
Is there a conspiracy?
Is there a sinister plot?
Well, here are the pointers:
A nanny – Sangeeta Richard employed by Devyani Khobragade alleged visa fraud, dropped out of sight several months ago in the US of A, came back to India, applied for a migrant visa along with her husband, migrated to the US and then preferred a written complaint against the Indian diplomat which led to the arrest.
The sordid Sangeeta Richard saga, courtesy – The Telegraph, Kolkata:
June 23, 2013: Sangeeta Richard, the nanny, leaves the Manhattan home of Devyani Khobragade.
June 24: India informs US officials in New York. From then till early July, Devyani receives multiple calls from people claiming to represent Sangeeta, threatening harassment unless she is compensated. India cancels Sangeeta's official passport
July 5: India summons American officials to South Block to discuss the issue
July 8: Sangeeta and Devyani — along with other consulate officials — meet at a Manhattan immigration attorney's office, where the nanny allegedly demands $10,000 (Rs 6.2 lakh), an ordinary Indian passport and a clean chit. Devyani and the others refuse
End-July: Devyani and her husband try to file a case in a New York court accusing Sangeeta of extortion but their petition is rejected. (Indian officials did not list the specific reason behind the rejection)
Sept. 17: Sangeeta's husband Philip and their two children get Indian passports. Indian officials say they did not, at that point, suspect the family was involved in fraud
Sept. 21: Delhi High Court passes an injunction barring Sangeeta from filing any criminal or civil charges against Devyani outside India. The US is told — in New Delhi and in Washington
October: Devyani's family files an FIR against Sangeeta and Philip Richard in south Delhi, accusing the nanny of extortion and naming Philip as a "co-conspirator"
November: A Delhi court issues a non-bailable warrant against Sangeeta. The US is informed
Dec. 10: Philip and their children fly to the US. The FIR doesn't stop them from flying out — there was no arrest warrant. But the US knew about the FIR. Its visa form specifically asks about pending cases and almost never gives visas in such cases
Dec. 12: Devyani is arrested in New York

In another report The Telegraph accords some clarity over procedure in the US of A.

Excerpts:
Strip search is a post-arrest procedure that is sanctioned in the US by its highest court.
The protocol of the US Marshals Service, which strip-searched Khobragade, states that officers must visually inspect the front of the body all the way down. It requires the prisoner to "spread legs and bend forward at the waist" so as to enable observation from the rear.
In New York, DNA samples are also routinely taken after an arrest and fed into a law enforcement database. This would have been done in the case of the Indian diplomat.
The US has the biggest prison population in the world: 13 million.
The majority of a 5-judge Supreme Court Bench in the US ruled some 18 months ago that officials with detainees in their custody had to ensure that people who are arrested or sentenced do not smuggle weapons or drugs into facilities where they are held.
In 2005, Albert Florence was travelling in New Jersey in the passenger seat of a BMW when the police flagged down his car for speeding.
Police said an arrest warrant was pending against Florence owing to non-payment of a fine.
Florence spent the next week in two jails where he was strip-searched twice.
According to the detainee's account of the search, he was shorn of all clothes and made to turn around, squat, cough and spread the cheeks of his buttocks while an officer watched. "It was humiliating," he later said of the experience.
Florence said he had paid. It finally turned out that the fine had, indeed, been paid by the accused.
In New York, where the Indian diplomat was arrested, strip searches take place after prisoners are visited by outsiders in jails or detention centres.
During anti-Iraq war demonstrations, a nun was strip-searched for crossing a police barricade to block the demonstrators although she was not a protester.
Illinois is one of the states within the American Union of States that prohibit strip-searches unless there is reasonable justification to warrant one.
"Strip search means having an arrested person remove or arrange some or all of his or her clothing so as to permit a visual inspection…," according to statute in Illinois.
In America, which has a large homeless population, admission to homeless shelters is preceded by a strip search and a bath for reasons of public health and hygiene.
In such facilities and in many detention centres, those brought in like Khobragade are asked to hand over their clothing and have a bath in order to make the stripping appear less intrusive.
The following points point to something sinister:
i. Devyani Khobragade was no criminal, had no warrant pending against her, was not homeless, was not destitute, importantly is a serving, accredited diplomat in New York and most importantly was dropping her daughter at school.
ii. Yet, Devyani Khobragade was arrested in broad daylight, in front of everyone, cuffed, finally, thrown into a slammer along with drug addicts and prostitutes and strip searched.
iii. All this was on the basis of a complaint preferred by a former maid-servant who had run away from her job, come to India, obtained a visa to settle down in the US of A along with her husband.
iv. In a nutshell, the whole thing was pre-planned by someone very, very high in the US of A.
What could be the reasons for subjecting Devyani Khobragade to such humiliation?
Obviously, she is a pawn being moved on a chess board.
The offending movers of the chessmen are in the US of A.
Obviously there is something very sinister that good old Kerry wants swept under the diplomatic carpet.
What could those be?
Possibilities:
[1]
The Central Intelligence Agency [CIA] could have laid some sort of honey trap to get Devyani to betray India.
Devyani may have reported to the Indian spooks.
The Indian spooks could have used the possibility to feed wrong information through Devyani and in turn managed to get some big-time info from the US of A – whose spy networks are leaking like sieves – after what one Edward Snowden did.
That possibility makes Devyani seem like a double agent working for India under the cover of diplomacy.
If that is true, sometime earlier, the US of A found out the truth, tried to get even and did get even, by arresting Devyani Khobragade on the basis of a trumped up charge and humiliated her.
The US of A may have done a psychological profile on Devyani and her family and expected her to return to India and get posted elsewhere – thereby sending a chilling message – Don't mess with the CIA!
[2]
When Sonia Gandhi was in the US of A last time a few months ago, during a so-called medical emergency, summons from a class action in US courts were served on her for her alleged role during the massacre of thousands of Sikhs in the Orwellian year of 1984, after the murder of Indira Gandhi.
The background to this was Sonia's having been overworked to get the food security bill passed in the Indian Parliament, her 'falling ill' reaching an Indian hospital with a suspected cardiac arrest, which turned out to be something a little more serious than the common cold.
And then, to treat that serious illness and for a further medical check-up, Sonia Gandhi went to the US of A.
Sonia has been accused of a lot worse in India.
Among other things, she has been accused of having plotted the murder of her husband and former Indian PM Rajiv Gandhi as a double agent of what had been the KGB of the former Soviet Union and also the Inter-Services-Intelligence of Pakistan. Her alleged role is to dismember India for the sake of her Pakistani masters.

Sonia beat a hasty retreat.
Gone were the pretentions that she was sick and under treatment.
Sonia reached the airport within a few hours and was winging her way back home.
Since the hospital is located in New York, did the Indian spies suspect Devyani of some kind of wrongdoing, or playing a triple-game?
Was there something more sinister?
[3]
Did Indian spooks allow the whole thing to happen and then used the whole thing to pretend to hit the US of A during the run up to the Indian parliamentary elections to help create a level the playing field for Sonia Gandhi against the National Democratic Alliance?
Devyani Khobragade has not returned and has been posted to the UN – with more protection, which points to a whole lot of other possibilities.
At this point in time, there is some yolk flung on the faces of the Americans as Kerry has apologised.
The simple possibility now is that the true story may never come out, unless some other Snowden blows more hot stuff on the net.
The complex possibility at this point in time is that when the power equation changes in India during the ensuing general elections, someone in India's spookdom would talk opening a huge can of worms leading to a virtual – verbal and/or physical strip search of a lot of spies in India and in the US of A!
neat composition.. clearly explained.. shocking facts..
