Vijayakanth's horoscope analyzed.

For Jayalalithaa baiters, the clash between her and Vijaykanth would have come as a much liked bonanza. They have been waiting for an opportunity to lash at Jayalalithaa without any thought of whom they are supporting by that and what kind of scenario would come up if they succeed in their pet job.

The people of Tamilnadu must think about the kind of politicians and political culture they have supported in the past few years. Self aggrandizement has been the only goal of these politicians. The entire country is now witnessing the harm that these Tamil speaking politicians have done to the country and the body polity by perpetuating corruption in the corridors of Delhi thanks to the undeserving support they enjoyed among the media in Tamilnadu and nearly 25% of the people who are still steeped in DMK mentality. (this is the percentage of supporters of the DMK) .

This group loves to provoke Vijayakanth who is already under the spell of filmy heroism. At every opportunity, the media used to ask him why he is not behaving like an 'opposition' leader. He could not resist the temptation for long and obliged finally and made a political speech and gestures in the Assembly which would have attracted applause if done on a road side meeting.

What happened is history now and we can hear loud cheers in support of him in the next few days. But by and large the remaining population of the State is silently watching him and assessing whether Jayalalithaa is correct in having said that this is what would happen if undeserving persons are given high responsibilities.

We are already seeing such persons making headlines in the 2G case. Vijayakanth may not belong to their category, but he does belong to a category of those dreaming to become the CM, without possessing any qualification as a leader. For him there is no distinction between filmy dialogues and real life dialogues The success of his films have given him the larger than life image of himself as a Savior. It is really dreadful to think about the future of Tamilnadu if he or the likes of him becomes the CM.

Looking at his horoscope, I believe that a majority of the people of Tamilnadu are able to see the emptiness in his self-projections as a leader or as a CM stuff. His horoscope does not show him to succeed in his one point agenda in politics – that of becoming the CM.

Here are my observations.

Aug 25, 1952, 6-50 am, Madurai.

The horoscope shows success in the field of art and not in politics.

His main occupation will be arts as
  • ·         Venus is the 10th lord from both the lagna and A10. Venus is well fortified by occupying its own star and being posited in the lagna + posited in the 3rd in D-9 and D-10 with a good SAV of 34 bindus at the 10th house.
  • ·         Connection of Venus / Mars / Neptune to the 3rd house makes one successful in cinema / performing arts where speech / singing / voice make an impact. Note his Mars in the 3rd in the house of Venus in the Bhava chart. Final prediction is based on Bhava chart only.

  • ·         Mars and Venus happen to be dharma and karma lords in Kendra position lending importance to him as an artist and not to a political role.
  • ·          Mars, happens to be the 10th lord in D-10 and forms a benefic  trine with Venus posited in the 3rd. Mars in the star of Saturn lends the people's  support to him as an actor.
  • ·         However since his Venus is in debility in D-16, which ultimately decides the level of satisfaction that one gets, he is craving for more than the recognition in the film field.
  • He started his party on Sept, 14, 2005. 10-09 am, Madurai in his Saturn dasa – rahu bhukthi. This combination shows that he started the party, driven by popularity factor and not by any inner urge to serve the people through governance.

·         The  party's dasa was Sun Maha dasa  at that time.
·          Until Sep 2008, Sun Maha dasa was running and after that Moon Maha dasa has started.

  • ·         Both sun and moon (in DMDK chart) are in the star of sun.  Though sun occupies its own house in the Upachaya in rasi, it goes to the 8th in D-9, to the 12 th in D-10 and debility in D-16. Though he managed to win some seats in the last elections, his party could not enjoy  power because of these combinations.
  • ·         Moreover the Moon of the present Moon Maha dasa is in Kemadruma yoga. This denies the party to enjoy prominence or power throughout Moon Mahasdasa as Moon happens to be the 10th lord.
  •
  • Now coming to his horoscope and his present Dasa, Mercury which started on 12-06-2010. This is going to be there for 17 long years.
  • ·         Mercury is 11th lord in 12th joined by the nodes. This shows his business inclinations in Mercury significances such as education sector, communication and so on. Mercury posited in the Mercurian asterism makes him intensely business minded than anything else. Sun joining this combine in the 12th in the Bhava chart shows trouble / loss from the Rulers.
  • ·         Mercury exchanging house with Saturn in D-9 makes him reap rich dividends through business in interaction with people in Saturn and Mercury dasa. Sun joining this combine in the 10th gives him political dividends but not rulership.
  • ·         From Moon sign Gemini is the 10th house with 35 bindus  but the 10th lord Mercury joins Ketu in the 11th with 27 bindus– the minimum required is 28 while the ideal one is 54! Rajiv Gandhi had 50 bindus in his 11th house which became the sole factor for his rise as the head of the State in Mercury Pratyanthar dasa as Mercury was in the star of Sun and in the house of Sun which happened to be the lagna. Like this some connection with Sun must be there with Mercury in Vijaykanth's horoscope if his Mercury Mahadasa were to be helpful in giving him power to rule.
  • ·         This 10th house from Moon is aspected by Mars (baadhak) and Saturn (6th lord) which is not good for that house.
  • ·         The 10th lord from Moon, joins debilitated Sun in the 9th in the D-10 which is again an indicator for lack of political power or clout.

·         The horoscope in general lacks yogas for a political leader.
There is no benefic Kendra / kona relationship between Moon and Jupiter which is a must for a ruler.
The lagna is weak with 22 bindus and is in papa karthari between Ketu and Saturn.
The lagna lord is in the 12th in the Bhava chart. There are no benefics in Kendras.
The current Dasa lord Mercury is in debility in the prarabhda related charts
such as Shodasamsa (D-16) and Sashtiyamsa (D-60),
besides joining Ketu in the 12th from Lagna in Rasi and Bhava charts.
All these show a lack of drive or a reduction in interest even in business / commercial activities in the Mercury Mahadasa.

He will fade out of politics in due course.

New Zealand school teaches Sanskrit and claims it helps children understand English

Nevada (US), Jan 25 (ANI):

A school in New Zealand has a 'Sanskrit Language Studies' program and claims that learning Sanskrit accelerates a child's reading ability.

Ficino School in Mt Eden area of Auckland (New Zealand), calls itself a 'values-based academic institution' and offers education for girls and boys from year one to eight. It says about Sanskrit: "It has a wonderful system of sound and grammar, which gives the child an excellent base for the study of any language. Children love its order and beauty."

Distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed has applauded Ficino School for fostering universal virtues and encouraging Sanskrit studies and adds that Sanskrit has a close relationship with other classical languages like Latin, Greek, French, German, etc.

According to Peter Crompton, principal of this school founded in 1997, where curriculum includes "food for the mind, food for the spirit, food for the body", "Sanskrit with its almost perfect grammatical system...provides children with a roadmap for understanding English." Sanskrit not only gives young learners a clear understanding of the structure of language, it also heightens their awareness of the process of speech, creating a greater understanding of and ability to, enunciate words clearly, Crompton adds.

Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, pointed out that Sanskrit should be restored to its rightful place. It needed to be brought to the mainstream and hidden scientific truths in ancient Sanskrit literature should be brought to light, he said.

Rajan Zed strongly criticized India Government for not doing enough for Sanskrit language. He asked India Government to do much more for the development, propagation, encouragement and promotion of Sanskrit in India and the world, which was essential for the development of India and preservation of its cultural heritage. Sanskrit also provided the theoretical foundation of ancient sciences.

Besides Hindu scriptures, a vast amount of Buddhist and Jain scriptures were also written in Sanskrit, which is known as "the language of the gods". According to tradition, self-born God created Sanskrit, which is everlasting and divine. The oldest scripture of mankind still in common use, Rig-Veda, was written in Sanskrit, Zed added.

Mahatma Gandhi said, "Without the study of Sanskrit, one cannot become a true learned man." German philologist Max Muller added, "Sanskrit is the greatest language of the world." (ANI)
