Creation through Nataraja’s beating of the Drum in the Vedic model of Universe.

The next in the series on the Vedic model of Creation and universes can be read in

http://www.tamilhindu.com/2010/03/creation-theory-3/

In this article, I have delved upon the progress of Creation in the very beginning.

The Vedic concept does not support Big Bang. Instead there is a rush of particles of unmanifest nature to become manifest by means of some sound waves – generated by Omkaar.

Lord Nataraja's beating of the drum is symbolic of the generation of manifest universe through OmKaar.

For those who can not read Tamil, I assure that I will be writing all these soon in this blog with more inputs.

Thanks for the support Mr Prakasam. I started the topic in Tamil as a response to some views already projected and then it continued as a series. I will write in this blog as soon as possible.

The reason for the emergence of various cults in Hinduism (like nithyananda, sri sri ravishankar) is because people don't understand the concept of religion and existence of various forms of god. This leads them to search for answers in the teachings of these god men. In this prevailing atmosphere it is laudable that you explain the reason for the existence of such forms of god. It reminds me of the symbolism in religion perpetuated by Dan brown in his novels. Instead of hiding some unexplainable issues like 'why so many idols', 'why so many forms of the same god', your blog has explored them in open. This in itself shows that ancient religion like Hinduism has been born with a purpose which has been capsulated in the form of symbolism to be handed down the ages. I feel this article about creation should also be printed in books so as to reach the masses.. have u ever thought of writing /sharing these articles with Tamil/English dailies so that even a tea bench reader can benefit from the knowledge.I am not mentioning that you can write a book because personally i feel books do not reach a common man as well as dailies. You may also have translators to translate your articles in other languages. Please consider these suggestions madam

Thanks Mr Rajagopal for the encouraging comments.

I have just touched upon the beginning point of Creation in the recent article. Still a long way to go:) In the subsequent articles I will be explaining some major issues around Shiva- Vishnu to show how organized or well programmed the system of Gods and Creation are.

Here are some excerpts from my interview to a fellow blogger on the question of many Gods within the system One God (Brahmam)

>>>>>
I will explain it 3-fold – as why there are many gods, how a single God exists and what we must do.

I take our Body for comparison.

We have many organs and limbs to do specific jobs – such as hands to work, feet to walk and internal organ systems such as respiratory, digestive systems etc that work as independent systems with a specific purpose. Likewise many gods are assigned specific portfolios to oversee their respective jobs in the vast scheme of the Universe and Life. But all the organs owe their functioning to the Master computer called the Brain. They discharge their work only at the instance of the Brain whose control over them is not realized by us.

Similarly the Supreme Brahman is in control of the entire universe though His presence is not felt by us openly. Just as we think of only those visible organs which do work for us, we think of some Gods but such thought must make us realize the presence of the Super Brain like Supreme God.

Now think of life. When I say that I live, where is that life force or soul located? Is it in the skull, or in the heart or in the hand or in the leg? Everywhere in my body or in every part of my body, Life force has permeated. It is as though Life Force is everywhere in my body or my body is fixed in Life Force. Similarly, God permeates every part of Creation and every part of Creation is fixed in Him. This is the import of Narayana tattwa – He resides in everything and everything resides in Him.

Now what we must do with this realization of the Body and Life Force? Do we ever harm our body, our body parts or life? Never. We always take good care of every part of our body. We take utmost care to keep them in fantastic working condition. Likewise do the same to the many Gods, to the Single Supreme God and do whatever you must to make their name and fame shine at all times. That is the duty of every Hindu towards this Dharma. <<<<

Dear Sri Rajagopal, On your suggestion of writing it in English, yes I will start it soon in this blog. It will be more in-depth and without restraints when I write it in my blog.

I have not thought beyond writing it in my blog. At the most I will make it a scribd document. That way, it can reach larger audience.

Infact I am going to write on Time at various denominations and on how the universes are moving as per Hindu thought - something not thought by anyone of the scientific community today. Only now they have reconciled to accepting multiverses (multiple universes). When you want to explore multiverses, science will become lame and that prospect threatens astro explorers. Only Hindu Thought resolves the larger picture of multiverses. Read the recent article in newscientist.com
